A winner will be randomly selected via King’s Own Calgary social media accounts from Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter to ride in the TAPV with three (3) Friends and/or family of their choosing. Winner must be a Calgary or local area resident within 30 minutes of the city. If located inside or outside the city limits, the winner and friends /family agree to organizing their own transportation to an agreed upon pickup point to meet up for TAPV ride. Those living in a residence within the city limits may be eligible to be picked up at their place of residence depending on location (due to the size and mobility of the TAPV it will be difficult to pick up winners within closed and tight City streets). Ultimately, the King’s Own Calgary regiment holds all right and responsibility to select the pickup location in accordance with vehicle parameters that meet the appropriate recommendations for safe manoeuvring of the TAPV in order to mitigate vehicle or property damage. The winner with his/her friends or family will be accompanied by a qualified TAPV driver and a qualified crew commander able to control the vehicle.
Date and Time of TAPV ride to be confirmed after winner is selected. Length of ride will be discussed at a later date to an agreed upon schedule that works for both parties (The King’s Own Calgary Regiment and Contestant winner with Friends/Family). The ride can potentially last up to two (2) hours. King’s Own Calgary Regiment ultimately reserves the right to determine length of ride for the winner and will also dictate the route of the ride in order to maximize safety and security for all parties involved.
