Calgary’s Armoured Regiment hits the slopes of Lake Louise to recruit new Army Reservists!
On March 25th 2017 B Squadron of the Kings Own Calgary Regiment had the pleasure of holding a recruiting event at the Whisky Jack Lodge in the Lake Louise Ski Resort. Ski conditions were excellent and hundreds of skiers were on the slopes enjoying the last few weeks of spring skiing. The recruiting team, consisting of a section of troops from A Sqn and B Sqn under the direction of 2nd Lieutenant Adam Stauble spent the day interacting with members of the public explaining the exciting opportunities working with the Kings Own can provide. Potential recruits were given the opportunity to try on military equipment, watch interactive videos about the unit’s recent activities and deployments and ask questions to members of the Regiment about what to expect as a member of a reserve armored reconnaissance regiment. The Kings Own would like to say a special thanks to the crew at the Lake Louise Ski Resort for making this event such a great success.
The Kings Own Calgary Regiment is currently recruiting new members in the Calgary and Foothills regions. Positions are filling up quickly so apply today! Contact [email protected] for more information.
