2019 King’s Own Calgary Post-Secondary Bursaries

Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 Charbonneau Scholarship and Regimental Funds Foundation Bursaries. The applicant must have a direct connection to The King’s Own Calgary Regiment, such as serving
reservists or their immediate family, veteran of the Regiment (retired member who was released
honourably), a cadet in a cadet corps affiliated with the Regiment, a direct descendant of a King’s Own
Calgary Regiment veteran, and/or volunteer with the King’s Own Calgary Regiment Museum,
Regimental Association or Regimental Funds Foundation, or on Regimental Funds Foundation projects
(including fundraising).

The following awards are as follows:

  1. The Captain Arnie Charbonneau MC Scholarship: The Scholarship has been established to be awarded to an athlete of outstanding skill and demonstrated teamwork from the Regimental Family of the King’s Own Calgary Regiment.
  2. The Regimental Funds Foundation Bursaries:The RFF has established a bursary or bursaries to be awarded to deserving applicant(s) from the Regimental family who have committed their time to support the Regimental Family’s Activities.
Deadline to apply is 31 January 2019 for both awards.
